Started from Bangalore: 10:00PM
Dropped down some where near Nandi Hills at 12 Mid night.... god knows where??????
Searched for view of Nandi hills from 12 to 3:00 AM
How lucky we were that day...?
1) Prabhat knew Telugu...that helped us as u will read later.
2) A good person gave us lift.
3) Lift..that too 4 persons in "Hamara Bajaj"....just Imagine..how we must be sitting.
4) Out of no where we got a person who knew only Telugu..& luckily Prabhat also knew Telugu.So he some what guided us ...that was the biggest relief...because at that time we were thinking we were lost.
5) God saved us from around 20 ( i guess..that was max i could count) barking dogs.
6) The gate...i still laugh when i think of it..we got furious like anything.
7) Again a watch dog in nandi Hills....by god that was a very furious moment.
8) Guard didn't say anything to us...we violated law by entering Nandi Hills premises before time ( 5:00AM)

Ooty Trip....well it slipped by one....but still i cherish those memories
When?-- 28th April to 1st May, 2007
Who?-- Me, Abanish, Ajit, Soumya, Rahul, Biranchi & Ashok....of course driver, Raj as well.
By? -- Toyota Qualis.
Distance travelled: ~ 800 KMs
It was all about Trekking.
What we did and see?
1) Through Bandipur National Park
2) Mudumalai View point
3) Pykara Falls
4) Red Hills
5) Ooty Marathon walk
6) Dolphin point to Catherine falls--- trekking of ~20 KMs
7) Metupallayam to Ooty-- Toy Train

Route:- Bangalore-- Mysore-- Ooty -- Metupallayam-- Coimbatore-- Pollachi -- Munnar--Pollachi --- Tirupur-- Salem --- Hosur--- Bangalore.
Time taken: 3 days ( ~ 45 Hrs of driving)
Details:
12th Jan,2008: 7:30AM: Started from BTM Layout, Bangalore...filled in our BACHIs'(bikes) tanks.
11:00AM: Outskirts of Mysore.
3:00PM: Ooty (Udagamandalam or Octacamund)
5:00PM: Pykara falls
6:00PM:Exit from Ooty
8:00PM: Metupallayam.....(night halt here)
13th Jan,2008: 7:00AM: Started from Metupallayam
8:30AM: Coimbatore
11:00AM: Lost in a place called Anna Malai
12:30PM: Back on Track..on way to Munnar
2:00PM: Crossing Indira Gandhi National park...felt for 1st time...forests are there in India.
3:30PM: Munnar
5:00PM: Exit from Munnar
6:30PM: Exit from IG park...really had to push engine hard..because they say "Its jungle rule in night".
9:00PM: Pollachi...night halt
14th Jan,2008: 6:00AM: Started for "TOP SLIP"...best for jungle dwellers sighting.
9:30AM: At Top Slip...somewhat dissappointed
11:00AM: Exit from Top Slip....towards Anna Malai.
12:00 Noon: Started from Anna Malai towards Bangalore.
3:30PM: Tirupur
6:00PM: Salem
9:00PM: Hosur
10:00PM: Bangalore

Bangalore to Goa shortened to Bangalore to Gokarna
Gokarna is a place of religious importance for Hindus. It sits on beaches of Arabian Sea, in North west karnataka. Goa is just 100KMs from here & so tourism industry is fluorishing here.
When?-- 21st December to 24th December, 2007.
How? -- Two bikes-- me this time pillion rider only for night driving.
Total distance travelled: ~ 1500 KMs
Route: Bangalore -- Tumkur -- Tiptur-- Shimoga -- Sagar -- Jog Falls -- Yana -- Gokarna -- Murudeshwar -- Bhatkal -- Agumbe -- Chikamaglur -- Hassan -- Bangalore.
